BRITS were today warned to be extra vigilant after the terror threat level was raised to Code Red as the dreaded Ferrero Rocher season closes in.
Prime Minister David Cameron said in a statement after having a Cobra meeting this morning:
“We live under constant threat at this time of year. There is nothing more dangerous than a box of Ferrero Rocher chocolates and sweets. They are deadly to the gums, can stick in between parts of the teeth and can lodge in your throat. They must be avoided at all costs.”
Government security officials say the threat could be on high alert all the way through to Christmas Day after leaks confirmed millions of dangerous suspicious packages — known to MI5 as Selection Boxes — could make their way into homes causing untold terror.
