Man who bought girlfriend Muhammad Ali’s autobiography for anniversary surprised at “ungrateful” sex ban
A 23-year-old man from Drumchapel in Glasgow whose girlfriend refused to have sex with him after he bought her the autobiography of the boxing legend, Muhammad Ali, as a 2nd-anniversary gift, has called her response, over the top and “an ungrateful overreaction”
Toby Dell, a diesel-fitter, told us: “I couldn’t believe her reaction after she had unwrapped the book, to be honest.
“She stared at it for a bit, then she just stared at me for ages. She didn’t look happy I’ll tell you that much.
“Then, without even a word of thanks, she flung it on the floor and stormed out of the room, slamming the door behind her.
“Admittedly, it was a second-hand copy, but a new one was over a tenner on Amazon and I picked that one up for £1.99.
“Ok it had a bit of a tomato sauce stain on the front cover but, as I explained to her at the time, I’m sure she could have cleaned it up with some soapy water and a bit of elbow grease.
“To make matters worse, she wouldn’t let me have sex with her that night and has since refused to let me get a look-in for the last two weeks.
“Talk about ungrateful. I’ll never understand women as long as I live”
We asked to have a word with the girl but Mr Dell told us that she had “flounced off to her mother” after he’d asked her that morning if she fancied a romantic evening watching, ‘Mike Tyson’s 10 Greatest KOs’ on DVD.
