In a surprise announcement, the surgeon who yesterday performed brain surgery on controversial columnist, Katy Hopkins, has revealed, that after removing the top of her skull to perform a procedure designed to cure her epilepsy, her brain began singing a medley of popular tunes.
Dr Saleem Malik told Dafty News: “It was quite extraordinary and absolutely unique in my 2 weeks experience as a surgeon in this country. As soon as I removed the cranium her brain began singing The Rose of Tralee. It then gave a rendition of Any Old Iron, The Soliloquy from Carousel and The Internationale.
“Eventually, the anaesthetist had to throw it into a bucket of water to keep it quiet while we sucked out a few pints of residual bile from the brain cavity with a stirrup pump.”
Ms Hopkins is now recovering and told reporters last night that she hopes to be up and about and hammering migrant children, the disadvantaged and the disabled in a few days time.
