Jesus may have been a benefits scammer, according to newly-discovered scripture.

The startling find, discovered by new papers found in an undisclosed religious library, state a number of scriptures and scrolls that clearly show the long-haired saviour was not who many think he was.

Sources close to the discovery say Jesus appears to have been a lazy so and so and had a string of camel theft and drink-related convictions.

It is also believed Jesus fathered children to many women scattered all over the many Jerusalem housing estates.

David Brink from the undisclosed library said: “We are trying to establish if he was crucified for his beliefs and for our sins, or was it because he didn’t pay Mary Magdalene maintenance money for all the kids they had together?”
