Illusionist Derren Brown to Make his Most Daring Miracle to Date — by Trying to Get Scotland to Qualify for the 2018 World Cup
MAGICIAN and illusionist, Derren Brown has been recruited by the Scottish Football Association to help the national team qualify for the 2018 World Cup in Russia, it has emerged.
The task which is thought to be the toughest illusion known to the world of magic will see Brown come up with a couple of away game points and a doubleheader victory against old rivals England.
However, critics and sceptics have warned Britain’s most popular illusionist that he has ‘absolutely no chance’ and is ‘wasting his time’ trying to turn Scotland’s fortunes around. Even Richard Dawkins and God have been said to intervene, citing the trick will be far too much.
It is understood Brown has also said he can stop the Tartan Army from drinking heavily and making a fool of themselves but it was thought the challenge would prove too much, even for Houdini.
Meanwhile, it has emerged the English F.A. tried to recruit another illusionist David Blaine to find the English national manager who doesn’t come with a tax dodge allegation or been involved in an undercover sting.
Blaine’s spokesperson said he had to decline as he was already booked to carry out much easier tasks such as swapping the Eiffel Tower with the Statue of Liberty overnight without anyone seeing him and turning Donald Trump into a very nice man admired by billions.
