Fitbit user left disappointed after downloading the Spirit Level App before visiting the Great Pyramid of Giza, Egypt.
‘Ah, sod it!’ as he threw his Fitbit into the sand, before heaving himself up onto a groaning camel to pick up his lunch at the McDonald’s Camel-Thru.
Student Jack Hargreaves, from London, started his career-break in Egypt, as the Pyramids have always been of fascination to him.
However, Jack’s visit to one of the 7 Wonders did not pay off, as downloading the new Spirit Level App onto his new Fitbit Blaze had flashed up: ‘Jack that Pyramid is wonky’.
Further warnings about the well-built structure continued to flash: ‘It’s crooked, please use your new Spirit Level app. I will count your steps.’
Being told what to do with a device strapped to his wrist, Jack stood as close as he could and using his Spirit Level App, discovered that the Great Pyramid of Giza was indeed uneven.
The next alert flashed: ‘I am always right. By the way, you have completed 250 steps and you are dehydrated, seek shade asap. Your Face is resembling a baboon’s arse in heat.’
