Facebook Private Messages Expected to Arrive Later Than Usual During the Festive Season, Warns Social Media Giant
FACEBOOK users have been warned to send their private messages early after the social media giant warned of a possible backlog in the run-up to Christmas, it has emerged.
Facebook told Dafty News this morning: “We would urge all our users to start sending their private messages now to guarantee them reaching the recipient in time for the holidays.”
The move comes after Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg received an email from parcel delivery company Yodel warning all their customers to expect delays during December.
A close aide to Zuckerberg told our reporters: “Mark absolutely shit himself. He completely forgot about December approaching and all the crap that flows through Messenger at this time of year.
“He has taken the appropriate steps to make sure all that bollocks reaches their intended recipients in time.”
It is estimated around 4 billion idiots are expected to clog up Messenger with supposed funny Christmas messages in the form of memes and video clips with another 2 billion expected to bring Messenger to a halt by continuously pressing on the big blue thumb.
