GLASGOW — A single mother from Glasgow and her daughter were left traumatized this morning after winning a pair of tickets to see Bay City Rollers in December, it has emerged.
The devastated women, thought to come from the Cardonald area of the city, were admitted to nearby Southern General Hospital after scooping the prize on a local radio station.
Doctors can confirm the mother is in a stable condition but the daughter may take more time to recover both physically and psychologically.
A hospital spokesperson told Dafty News: “The mother has experienced Bay City Rollers before so she should get over this.
“However, it’s the daughter that is the main concern because it is quite unhealthy for someone in their 20s to be into a horrific band such as the Bay City Rollers.”
It’s not the first time the mother and daughter combo have been involved in a horrific encounter.
In March 2015 the unlucky pair were treated in a psychiatric hospital after declaring their affection for Canadian crooner Michael Bublé. Leaving many top shrinks completely baffled.
