Dafty News Responds To Creative Scotland’s The ‘Glasgow Effect’ Project

FUNDING arts body Creative Scotland defend giving artist Ellie Harrison £15,000, to spend a full year living in the city of Glasgow, but many Glaswegians are none too happy.

The project titled the Glasgow Effect has caused a bit of a stir on social media with many blasting Creative Scotland for wasting money while others say the term the Glasgow Effect — a relating term to poor health in sections of the city — is demeaning and £15,000 could be better spent on more serious issues…such as foodbanks.
