The Chase Slammed: Show Allowed Extra Time so Millions of Housewives Could Answer Question

POPULAR tea-time quiz show The Chase has caused controversy after producers allowed extra time so millions of UK housewives could answer a question, it has emerged.

Quiz champion Mark Labbett has taken to Twitter to back the show’s actions - citing an editing issue was to blame.

However, an inside leak and whistleblower for The Chase explained: “We are aware of the fact most of the British housewives are a bit thick so we decided to prolong the clock during a question to allow the poor cows to get an answer right. We figured the extra ten seconds would allow the bored housewives enough time to Google.”

Dafty News tried to contact the show’s host Bradley Walsh but he was late in answering the phone 20 seconds before we actually called him.
