THERE was widespread fear and terror this morning after a 34-year-old father was forced to spend the bank holiday day having a picnic with his wife and kids, it has been reported.
Witnesses say the man was visibly shaken and had to be comforted by passers-by.
One passer-by, who wished not to be named for fear of a backlash from the man’s wife, told our reporters: “It was terrible. The poor guy looked frightened and needed urgent support.”
Anti-terror units made this statement ahead of the bank holiday:
“When the weather promises to be good it is normal for wives and partners to want to do something with their kids. However, sadly, most fathers and partners, are being forced against their will to take part in mundane activities such as family picnics.”
It is understood around 98% of the male population in Great Britain actually pray for rain during a bank holiday as it means they do not need to drive and get stuck in traffic and can spend the day in the pub.
