Police were called to a WhatsApp group chat late last night after carnage broke out over an opinion, it has emerged.
Ten members of the group were detained in custody and expected to appear in court today. Several injured, according to reports.
A police spokesperson told Dafty News: “At around 11:45pm last night we received a frantic call that a member of a WhatsApp group sparked fury after having a difference of opinion on a trivial matter.
“An argument ensued that resulted in many casualties. Subsequently, ten individuals were arrested and will appear in court later today.”
It’s not the first time police have been called to a social network site.
In May 2016 a woman was arrested on Facebook for posting a profile picture of herself that was clearly ten years old.
