A FATHER-OF-FIVE celebrated last night after all the fairy lights on the family’s Christmas tree lit up after only the first attempt, it has emerged.
The staggering and very rare moment has baffled the nation with millions taking to the internet to try and get tips from the lucky dad.
Speaking exclusively to Dafty News the middle-aged builder’s labourer said: “I couldn’t believe how quick and easy the whole process was.
“I literally threw the tree up then slapped some cables around the bastard. The kids were all excited but I didn’t want them around in case I electrocuted them.
“I just flicked a switch and the tree was like Gatwick’s runway at night.”
It is understood an extension cable may have helped the father’s lucky streak after stealing one from his work.
It’s not the first time a family man has struck lucky at Christmas.
It is thought in 1765 a husband was discovered to have bought a Christmas present for his wife that she actually liked and didn’t take it back to the shop for a refund.
