Betterware catalogue thefts: Cristiano Ronaldo held

by Danny SoZ

Portuguese soccer idol, Cristiano Ronaldo was being held in custody at an East London police station last night following a string of reports from locals that somebody had been stealing their Betterware catalogues, complete with orders, from their doormats over the last 6 months.

A police spokesman at East Ham police station, where the £150,000 a-week star is being held, told reporters: “Following enquiries based on eyewitness reports and CCTV footage, we have arrested Mr Ronaldo and charged him with theft. He will be released on police bail later today but will not be allowed to leave the country to play for Real Madrid.”

This shock news comes only 3 days after Barcelona legend, Lionel Messi, was arrested and charged with aggravated burglary after breaking into the home of a Glasgow woman armed with a knife and stealing 5 tins of Glenryck pilchards that the woman had bought ‘on special’ earlier that day.
