Amazon Echo Dot has come under fire after it failed to name the new Rangers manager, despite being asked by tens of thousands of supporters of the Glasgow club for almost two months, it has emerged.
The hands-free voice-controlled device has so far been praised for its accurate information to its consumers but this latest failure has sparked concerns either Alexa doesn’t know anything about football or the Rangers Football Club haven’t got a clue.
A spokesperson for Alexa told Dafty News last night: “It’s been almost two months since Rangers F.C. parted company with Pedro Caixinha and the club’s managerial situation remains in limbo.
“The fans have no idea, the board has no idea and what’s a worry for the legions of fans all over the world is Alexa is completely baffled, too.”
It’s not the first time Alexa hasn’t been able to provide information to the Rangers fans.
In a recent and very rare win for the Ibrox outfit, Amazon’s hotline went into meltdown after the interim boss Graeme Murty went against everything Rangers Football Club stands for by playing two attackers, fuelling calls for Alexa to get her finger out.
